Christie Ashley is a New Jersey based makeup artist who specializes in both beauty and special effects makeup.

    Growing up, she was not influenced much by makeup. However, she had a love and appreciation for mediums such as photography and film. As she got older and was introduced to cosmetics, her interest in makeup was piqued. Christie’s love of film production grew when she started to notice and appreciate the makeup she was seeing in the entertainment industry. 

    With this revelation, Christie knew that she wanted to be part of this creative world. In 2016, she attended the Master’s Program at Make-Up Designory in New York City. With this extensive training she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots, as well as designing a range of characters using both cosmetic and special effects makeup. 

    Christie strives to use these experiences to further her education of the industry and work to eventually be part of the very thing she grew up loving.
